Name of the Posts:

1. professor: 04 Posts

2. Assistant Professor: 33 Posts

3. Associate Professor: 13 Posts


Age Limit: candidates age limit is not exceeding 45 years for Post Code 3268 to 3278. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess D.M (Medical Gastroenterology)/ D.M (Gastroenterology)/ M.D (Medicine/ Paediatrics) with 2 years special training in Gastroenterology after post graduation and Ph.D in relevant disciplines for Professor Posts, M.D (Anesthesiology)/ M.S. (Anesthesiologist)/ DNB (concerned specialty) and Degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or a statutory Board/ Faculty/ Examining Body of Indian Medicine for Assistant Professor Posts and M.D (Social & Preventive Medicine)/ M.D (Community Medicine)/ M.D (Community Health Administration)/ M.D (Health Administration)/ DNB (concerned specialty) & relevant disciplines for Associate Professor. Selection Process: Short listed candidates will be called for interview.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website www.bhu.ac.in and may send the application (Hard copy) in the prescribed application format along with self attested copies of certificates and marks-sheets from matriculation certificate to the Office of the Registrar (Recruitment & Assessment Cell), Holkar House, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005 on or before 16-03-2015.
