Name of the Post: Scientist/ Senior Scientist


Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 32 years for Scientist & 37 years for Senior Scientist as on 06.01.2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Ph.D. in Botany with two years of research experience in Botany field.


Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in interview.


Application Fee: Candidates should have to Pay Rs. 500/- through crossed Demand Draft in any Nationalized Bank & valid for at least 3 months drawn in favour of “Director, NISCAIR” payable at New Delhi. No Fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates.

Candidates can send their offline or printout of online application along with attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications & caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed together with Demand Draft in an envelope should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF Scientist (Post Code 01)” by post to The Controller of Administration, National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), Pusa Campus, Dr. K S Krishnan Marg, New Delhi – 110012 on or before 06-01-2015.

3. Select the desired post & Click on the link “Online Submission of Application”.

4. Before applying online candidates should have valid email ID & password.

6. Fill all the details carefully of the online application.

7. Click on Submit button indicating the application number. Please note down the same carefully and preserve it.

8. Take printout of application & send it to the above mentioned address.
