The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Southern Region has advertised for recruitment of 22 vacant positions under different job profiles through the official notification released online with reference to Advt. No. 02/2014. The candidates who comply with the eligibility conditions as specified for this purpose may submit their application in offline modes latest by 24^th November 2014. The candidates applying in the post available will be selected on the basis of the skill test/ proficiency test/ interview as may be conducted for this purpose.

Offered Positions:

1) Junior Technical Assistant (05 Posts)

2) Quarantine (01 Post)

3) Research Assistant (01 Post)

4) Assistant Programmer (09 Posts)

5) Assistant Epigraphist (02 Posts)

6) Artist Grade- II (01 Post) and

7) Sales Assistant (03 Posts)

Total Vacancy: 22 Posts

Job Location: Chennai

Scale of Pay:

For Post No 1-6 -Pay Band II: Rs 9300- Rs 34800 + 4200/ 4600

For Post No 7 –Pay Band I: Rs 5200- Rs 20200 + Rs 2800

The candidates applying in the above mentioned job posts should be at least Class 10^th passed or have higher qualification in relevant fields as may be specified for this purpose.

Age Criteria:

The maximum ages of all the candidates must be not more than 30 years for the post no 1-5. The ages of all the applicants should range in between 18-25 years for the post of Artist Grade II and between 18 to 30 years for the post of Sales Assistants respectively.

Criteria of Selection:

The applicants will be required to appear and qualify in the following examinations for getting selected in concerned recruitment: Skill Test/ Proficiency Test/ Interview.
