Name of the Post: Scientist SC (Agro-ecosystems & Crop Modelling)


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should not be more than 38 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation in Agricultural Sciences/ Agril Engineering with 60% & above marks or equivalent, Master’s degree in Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Agrometeorology/ Agricultural Physics/ SWE/ RS&GIS with 60% & above marks or equivalent, One year experience in applications of Remote Sensing and GIS in Agriculture.


Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.


Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.1000/- by cash receipt or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Punjab Remote Sensing Centre payable at Ludhiana.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of age proof, qualification certificates/ mark sheets, experience certificate, demand draft, caste certificate etc & other relevant documents on or before 20-10-2014 to the office of Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC), PAU Campus Ludhiana.
