1. Dy General Manager (Mining), Raw Materials Division: 06 Posts

2. Dy General Manager (Mining), Collieries Division: 03 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 48 years as on 01-09-2014. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC candidates.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess full time Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering with 1st class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency.


Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on personal interview.


Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.500/- for General and OBC Candidates through Registration Slip.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.sail.co.in from 01-09-2014 to 21-09-2014 and send hard copy of application along with Registration Slip, Biodata format & detailed resume showing details of work experience, self-attested copy of Caste Certificate, by superscribing the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER ( MINING), RAW MATERIALS DIVISION/ DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER (MINING), COLLIERIES DIVISION” and send to to DGM (Personnel-Recruitment), Steel Authority of India Ltd, 16th Floor, SCOPE Minar, District Centre, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi- 110092 on or before 30-09-2014.


Instructions to Apply Online:

1. Before applying online candidates should have Valid e-mail ID & mobile phone no.

2. Candidates should have Scanned copies of latest passport size photograph (jpg/ jpeg file only of less than 50 kb size) & signatures in digital format (jpg/ jpeg file only of less than 20 kb size).

3. Log on to the website http://www.sail.co.in/.

4. Click on “Careers” —–> “Raw Material Division”.

5. Click on “Requirement of Senior Mining Professionals for Raw Materials Division & Collieries Division”.

6. Click on “Apply Online” before relevant Post.

7. Click on “I Agree” button and Fill all the details like personnel details, qualification details, etc.

8. Click on “Next” button.

9. System will generate a Registration Slip with unique registration number.

10. Make payment with the Registration Slip.

11. Again relogin and enter fee details and click on Submit button.

12. After Submission of application, send hard copy of application to the address mentioned how to apply.
