The Paschim Banga Gramin Bank has notified for the filling up of 129 vacant positions of Officers in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) respectively. The selections to all the specified job posts shall be done on the basis of Common Written Examination as conducted by IBPS (Indian Banking Personnel Selection) every year in September/ October months. Eligibility Conditions:
In order to qualify for the post of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants, candidates should be having a graduation degree in any discipline of a recognized university/ college as well as proficiency in the local language of the place concerned.
The applicants in order to get eligible in Officer Scale II Post should be having the educational qualification as per the fields stated below:
Treasury Manager: CA or MBA Finance from a reputed institute with one year of experience in the field concerned.
Law Officer: UG Degree in law with a minimum of 50% marks in the concerned qualifying examination and two years of experience in the concerned field as a law officer.
Agriculture Officer: Degree in either of the following: Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisiculture or equivalent subject with a minimum of 50% marks and two years of experience in the relevant fields.
IT Officer: Degree in either of the following: Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent subjects with 50% marks along with at least one year of work experience in the desired field.
General Banking: Special preference shall be given to the applicants having degree/ diploma in Banking/ Finance/ Marketing/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Sciences/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisiculture/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Information Technology/ Management/ Law/ Economics & Accountancy respectively.
