Positions Vacant:

Assistant Surgeon (Dental): 34

Assistant Surgeon (General- MBBS): 2142

Place of Job: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Scale of Remuneration: Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.5400/-

Academic Requirements:

Candidates, who are looking for the posts of Assistant Surgeon (Dental), need to be a BDS Degree holder, whereas for the posts of Assistant Surgeon (General), they need to be an MBBS Degree holder from a reputed medical college or university.

Limitation of Age:

The upper age limit prescribed for all applicants of this recruitment is fixed at 30 years and 35 years for the posts of Assistant Surgeon (Dental) and Assistant Surgeon (General), respectively as reckoned on 1^st July, 2015.

Procedure of Hiring:

Eligible candidates shall be hired for these positions through a Written Examination held by the TNMRB to be scheduled very soon.

Examination Fee:

All aspirants are supposed to make a payment of Rs.750/- (Rs.347/- in case of Reserved applicants) by means of either offline or online mode as per the convenience of candidates. Refer to the official advertisement for payment details.

1.) Log on to its official web site- mrb.tn.gov.in and select the “Recruitment” link for navigating to the MRB Exam portal.

2.) Click on the “Apply Now” option available on this page.

3.) Select the name of post applied for and thereon enter all your details accurately in the e-application form.

4.) Upload a scanned copy of your latest photo and signature, enter payment details and finally click on “Submit Application” after checking all details carefully.

5.) Get a hard copy of the application form after successful submission for future references.
