1. Professor: 02 Posts

(i) ECE/ CSE/ EEE/ Mech/ Civil

2. Associate Professor: 05 Posts

(i) ECE/ CSE/ EEE/ Civil/ Mech/ Physics

3. Assistant Professor: 10 Posts

(i) ECE/ CSE/ EEE/ Civil/ Mech/ Physics

4. Assistant Professor (On Contract)

(i) ECE/ CSE/ EEE/ Civil/ Mech/ Physics


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D 1st Class at UG & PG levels.


Selection Process: Short listed candidates will be called for interview.


Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, Rs.500/- for others through demand draft only drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, payable at Shillong. Candidates should write his/ her name, address and the post applied for on the back side of the bank draft.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with photocopies of certificates/ mark sheets, proof of date of birth, caste certificate & other relevant documents on or before 21-04-2014 to Registrar (i/c), National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong-793003. The documents containing envelope should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF—–, Department of ———”.
