1. Research Associate: 04 Posts

2. Senior Research Fellow: 12 Posts

3. Research Associate (Computer Programmer): 01 Post

4. Junior Research Fellow: 01 Post

5. Technical Assistant: 10 posts

6. Data Collection Assistants/Pest Scouts: 01 Post

7. Data Entry Operator: 01 Post

8. Office Assistant: 02 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 35 years for men and 40 years for women for JRF & SRF posts and 40 years for men and 45 years for women for RA post as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D Degree in Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Breeding/ Plant Sciences or M.Sc (Ag) Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Breeding/ Plant Sciences for RA Post, Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/Agriculture/ M.Sc/or M.Sc (Ag) with specialization in Plant Breeding/Genetics/Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology and Masters Degree in Mass Communication, English Literature/Agriculture for JRF & SRF Posts, B.SC (Ag)/B.Sc with specialization in biotechnology /Life Sciences/ Entomology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Chemistry for Technical Asst Post, Degree in Science/ Computer Application or Diploma in Agriculture for Data Collection Asst, B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with computer Skills for DEO Post and Graduate from a recognized university for Office Asst Post.


Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and interview.
