SKUAST Recruitment 2013 – 34 Non Teaching Positions: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST) has inviting applications from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State for the recruitment of 34 Non Teaching positions like Asst Comptroller, Stenographer, Electrician etc. Eligible candidates can send their application on or before 31-05-2013. . 1. Asstt. Comptroller: 01 Post

2. Stenographer: 05 Posts

3. Electrician: 01 Post

4. Tractor Driver AICRP, Dhiansar: 01 Post

5. Security Guard: 04 Posts

6. Cook/Hostel Attendant: 03 Posts

7. Cleaner: 02 Posts

8. Class IV and equivalent positions: 17 Posts

(Peon, Orderly, Messenger, Runner, Chowkidar, Duplicator Operator/ Laboratory Attendant/ Library)


Age Limit: Age limit should be between 18-37 years for General, 18-39 years for Physically Handicapped, 18-40 years for members of SC/ST/RBA /SOC/ALC candidates already in Government Service Ex-Serviceman. For the post of Security Guard age limit should not be more than 45 years. The age limit should be as on 01-01-2013.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation, proficiency in the trade preferably ITI trained, Literate with valid Tractor Driving License and matriculation or equivalent. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.


Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test/ skill test/ screening test and interview.


Application Fee: Candidates has to pay the application fee in the form of bank draft of Rs.1200/- (for General candidates) & Rs.600/- (for category and physically handicapped candidates) for the Post No.1 and Rs.500/- (for General candidates) & Rs.250/- (for category and physically handicapped candidates) for all other posts, drawn in favour of Comptroller SKUAST-J payable at Jammu.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of PRC, mark sheets, certificates, testimonials and bank DD and three self-addressed envelopes of size (9′ x 4′) duly affixed with postage stamps of 30/-, by super scribing the top of the envelope as “Application for the post of ____”, to the office of the Assistant Registrar (R&C), Sher-e-Kashmir, University of Agril. Sciences & Technology of Jammu, Chatha, Jammu (J&K) – 180 009 by registered/ speed post on or before 31-05-2013 up to 05:00 P.M.
