PhD Program
Eligibility:
1. This program will be full time, part time, internal, external
2. If applicants opt for full time course then they get fellowships
3. 50 Years is maximum age of any applicants
Engineering Program
Eligibility:
1. Engineering/Technology (M.Tech) degree in relevant field.
2. Applicant’s marks should be first class.
3. Applicants must have 60%+ marks.
4. SC/ST applicants must have 50 %+ marks.
Architecture Program
Eligibility:
1. Architecture/Design/engineering /technology/planning (M.Tech) degree or equivalent in relevant field.
2. Applicant’s marks should be first class.
3. Applicants must have 60%+ marks.
4. SC/ST applicants must have 50 %+ marks.
Nano Technology Program
Eligibility:
1. Nano science and technology/engineering /technology (M.Tech) degree or equivalent in relevant field.
2. Applicant’s marks should be first class.
3. Applicants must have 60%+ marks.
4. SC/ST applicants must have 50 %+ marks.
5. If applicants apply for Part time/ external courses then they not need any GATE score or any fellowship (UGC/CSIR/NBHM/NET/KCSTE).
Biotechnology Program
Eligibility:
1. Life science/ Biotechnology (M.Tech) degree or equivalent in relevant field.
2. Applicant’s marks should be first class.
3. Applicants must have 60%+ marks.
4. SC/ST applicants must have 50 %+ marks.
5. If applicants apply for Part time/ external courses then they not need any GATE score or any fellowship (UGC/CSIR/NBHM/NET/KCSTE).
Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) Program:
Eligibility:
1. Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Statistics etc degree or equivalent in relevant field.
2. Applicant’s marks should be first class.
3. Applicants must have 60%+ marks.
4. SC/ST applicants must have 50 %+ marks.
5. If applicants apply for Part time/ external courses then they not need any GATE score or any fellowship (UGC/CSIR/NBHM/NET/KCSTE).
Management Studies:
Eligibility:
1. Post Graduation degree or equivalent in relevant field.
2. Applicant’s marks should be first class.
3. Applicants must have 60%+ marks.
4. SC/ST applicants must have 50 %+ marks.
5. Applicants may have valid UGC/CSIR/JRF/NET fellowship.
6. Applicant who had managerial experience for not less than 5 years they no need UGC/CSIR/JRF/NET fellowship
Detail of Application Form:
1. Applicants are requested to visit official website for download application form information brochure and prospectus from NIT.
2. Fill application form with relevant detail.
3. Recent photographs and should be self attested.
4. Application fee for all courses is 600/-rs for (General/OBC) and 300/- rs for (SC/ST) applicants.
5. Bank Draft or DD should be payable at SBI, NIT Calicut Branch and send in favor of Director NIT Calicut.
Essential Dates:
1. Online available of form: April 3rd 2013
2. Receipt last date: may 15th 2013
3. Written test/ interview: June 11th 2013
4. Reporting of program: July 10th 2013
5. Date of Registration: July 15th 2013
