The Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) in Uttar Pradesh has been formed during the year 1948 with the amalgamation of the UP Military Police and the UP State Armed Constabulary for offering a systematic process of maintaining the law and order in abidance with rules and regulations of the state and the rules of Military Police. Present with the announcement from the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, there are almost 2000 vacancies are coming up through the PAC for competent direct recruitment. Number of Tentative Vacancies: Almost 2000 job positions as declared, which may be reduced or enhanced depending upon the exact requirement and competency of eligible candidates


Last date demarcated for submission of ORA:


The Online Recruitment Applications can be submitted through the website of the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board till 19th day of February, 2013, as demarcated by the Board. No further applications will be accepted by the Board after the due date.


Eligibility Criteria (AGE): The applicants interested for this post must come under 18-22 years of age barrier for preliminary selection. Any violation in these age range will be subjected to disqualification of candidature. The age will be reckoned as on 1st day of January 2013


Eligibility Criteria (Academics):


The applicants must have completed their 10th standard, matriculation standard of education from any recognized board or should have acquired an equivalent qualification to become eligible for the job positions.

Fees Intended for Application:


The applicant must enclose a fee receipt through the prescribed format along with their ORA during filling of the form. The fee to be remitted for the post is Rs.50 only.


How to submit the ORA:


Candidates interested for the job positions in PAC may apply along with the general advertisement for recruitment of 24000 police constable vacancies (including the 2000 for PAC) through the website of the Board at http://uppbpb.gov.in. The detailed procedure for submission of ORA is described at the portal for easy reference.


UP Police Result 2013:

The UP Police Result 2013 will be published on the website of the Recruitment Board (http://uppbpb.gov.in ) as scheduled. For criteria such as selection examination schedules, downloading of Admit card and interview schedules can also be obtained from the specific sections of this website, by the applicants.
